En Avant All-Stars Competition Team

The En Avant All-Star Competition teams are extracurricular studio teams that consist of standout dancers within the studio who are willing to put the extra time, effort, and commitment required of a competition schedule. Dancers must audition in the spring for the opportunity to be placed within the program. Our program is currently comprised of 3 Senior Level Teams, 2 Junior Level Team, and 1 Mini Team.

Rising All-Stars

The Rising All-Star Team consists of 3rd-5th grade dancers. The main goals of our Rising Stars Team are to allow the dancer time to improve technical skills, enjoy more performance opportunities, and give them competition experience. A Rising All-Star requires some dance experience, time, and a positive attitude! Rising All-Stars are required to take a minimum of one (1) Ballet/Jazz combo class and one (1) competition choreography class each week. The Rising All-Stars are a competition team. They will learn at least one jazz/theme routine, and will compete at 2 local competitions during the winter and perform in the spring recital in June.

Junior Team

The All-Star Junior Team consists of 6th-8th grade dancers. The main goals of our Junior Team are to improve technical skills, enjoy more performance opportunities, provide competition experience, and prepare for the Senior teams. A Junior All-Star requires basic jazz technique, time, dedication, and a positive attitude! Junior level dancers must take a minimum of one (1) jazz skills class and one (1) ballet/pointe class or one (1) modern class in addition to the competition choreography class. The Junior All-Stars are a competition team. They will learn at least one jazz and one hip hop routine, and will compete at 2-3 competitions during the winter and perform in the spring recital in June.

Senior Team

The All-Star Senior Team consists of mainly 9th-12th grade dancers. However, all grades 6th-12th are eligible to make the team. . The main goals of our Senior Team are to continue to improve technical skills, increase dance knowledge, enjoy more performance opportunities, provide competition experience, and challenge each dancer. A Senior All-Star requires advanced level skills, extensive technique, time, dedication, and a positive attitude! Senior level dancers must take a minimum of one (1) jazz skills class and one (1) ballet/pointe class or one (1) modern class in addition to the competition choreography class. The Senior All-Stars are a competition and exhibition team. They will learn at least one jazz, one hip hop, and one contemporary routine, and will compete at 3-4 competitions during the winter, perform in the spring recital in June, and showcase at 1-2 community events.
